Being "different" now means looking like everyone else. I don't want to be "Different" anymore because I don't want to be like everyone else. I have died my hair odd colors and dressed differently since I was in 4th grade, but now it's cool to be unique that unique is not longer that. It's conformity. So If I color my hair or wear odd things I am NOT scene. I was unique before unique became cool. I grew up listening to punk and techno, everyone else discovered it in high school. You're not different anymore, you're just like everyone else because it's "cool"
